Applied Mathematics Colloquium: Dr Jeonghun Lee

Abstract: Numerical methods for multiple-network poroelasticity (MPET) models are of great research interest recently. In this talk I first review some results on numerical discretization and preconditioning of the MPET system. Then I discuss recent preconditioning techniques for MPET which are robust for the fluid exchange coefficients. This is a joint work with Kent-Andre Mardal, Marie E. Rognes, Eleonora Piersanti, and Travis B. Thompson.
