Title: Longitudinal vibrations of a periodically excited rod
Abstract: We show for a viscoelastic rod model that corresponding to any (small enough) periodic forcing there is a periodic solution. The argument proceeds by the Implicit Function Theorem once one can show differentiability of the solution map for the IVP.
