Title: Some Applications of Online Learning and Optimization Algorithms
Abstract: In this talk, we will review some basic frameworks for online learning and optimization and discuss their applications to smart power systems and machine learning. In the power systems applications, online optimal power flow and demand response problems will be discussed, where the uncertainties related to renewable generation and consumer behaviors will be tackled. In the machine learning applications, online dictionary learning and its variants will be discussed.
