Description
We are pleased to announce that the Department of Mathematics and Statistics is organizing a Teaching Circle series around the topic, "Active Learning and In-class Assessment in the Age of AI."
Through this series we will explore the various pitfalls and possibilities in pedagogy that wide availability of AI has opened up. (We will be concentrating mostly on 200 and 300 level courses.)
This is session 2 of 3, with the third taking place on Dec 8.
These sessions will be moderated by Manil Suri (UMBC Presidential Teaching Professor and Distinguished University Professor).
