Title
Meta-analysis of the effective of continuous glucose monitoring on glucose control in diabetes
Abstract
Without hypoglycemia, monitoring of blood glucose to near normal level becomes a challenge in the management of diabetes. Self monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) provides daily monitoring of blood glucose level and help to adjust therapy, however, it cannot detect hypoglycemic unawareness and nocturnal hypoglycemia which occurred mostly in T1DM pediatrics. On the other hand, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) offers continuous glucose data every 5 minutes to adjust insulin therapy especially for T1DM patients. In this talk, I’m going to present the application of meta-analysis to assess the effects of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) on glycemic control in Type 1 diabetic based on 10 qualified randomized control trials that were conducted in many different countries such as Australia, Bosnia Herzegovina, England, France, Germany, Korea, Slovenia, USA, etc.

Title
Agreement of Solutions to the Multivariate Behrens-Fisher Problem
Abstract
The multivariate Behrens-Fisher problem tests the equality of means in two normal populations with unequal covariance matrices.  We review the literature giving approximate tests for this hypothesis and verify the approximations using simulation studies.
