Title
Formulation of Stochastic Partial Differentiation Equations Using Galerkin Method
Abstract
In the past few years, this topic has received an increasing amount of attention, especially in the context of complex systems. This talk is devoted to the general aspects of formulating Stochastic Partial Differential Equations. Also, we will introduce the model problem, which is an Elliptic PDE with stochastic coefficients and its discretization using Galerkin method.

Title
Statistical Analyses of Drug Abuse Deterrent Studies
Abstract
Abuse and misuse of prescription opioid products have created a serious and growing public health problem. The overall goal of a drug abuse deterrent study is to evaluate the abuse potential of a test drug.  However, the science of abuse deterrence is relatively new, and both the formulation technologies and the analytical, clinical, and statistical methods for evaluating those technologies are rapidly evolving.
Based on the FDA guidance “Abuse-Deterrent Opioids—Evaluation and Labeling, Guidance for Industry” which was proposed in April 2015, the statistical analyses of drug abuse deterrent studies are introduced.
