Title: Stationarity of Stochastic Biochemical Systems and Its Application
Abstract: Can we find universal rules that can be applied to most biochemical systems? What mathematical tools help us to study such rules? As an answer to this question, I will introduce stochastic reaction networks that graphically describe the interactions in a given biochemical system. Then I will show that rules of stationarity of stochastic biochemical systems can be studied based on purely mathematical properties of the underlying reaction network, hence the rule can be universally applied to any biochemical system independent of the biological background. As an application, I will also briefly talk about designing bio-control circuits by using the rules of stationarity.
