UMBC in Sri Lanka
The International Conference on Environmental and Medical Statistics took place in January 2020 at the Postgraduate Institute of Science of University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. This was a joint effort between the University of Peradeniya and UMBC.
The conference's plenary speakers were Dr. Thomas Mathew and Dr. Barry Nussbaum (Adjunct Professor). Dr. Nagaraj Neerchal presented a keynote address, and Dr. Bimal Sinha was a co-chair of the conference.
Additionally, Dr. Neerchal presented a general-audience talk titled Building a Sccessful Career by Blending the Ancient with Modern.
