2026 Mathematics and Statistics Departmental Awards

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics has selected its 2026 Award Winners!
Students with outstanding records were vetted by the UPC and names were circulated among the faculty.
Our annual awards are:
- Outstanding Graduating Seniors in Mathematics and Statistics
- Michele B. Hayes Scholarship - to an outstanding female in Mathematics or Statistics
- Sinha Scholarship - to outstanding students in Statistics (one graduate and one undergraduate)
- Hrabowski PAC Scholarship - to two outstanding students in Mathematics or Statistics
The scholarships are given to non-graduating students, to be used in the next academic year. Many of our outstanding seniors this year won one of the awards in a past year.
