Thomas Seidman Endows Chair
Maryland Department of Commerce awards matching fund
The late Dr. Seidman's estate has donated $1.06 million to UMBC to create the Dr. Thomas I. Seidman Endowed Chair in mathematics. The Maryland E-nnovation Initiative, an effort within the Maryland Department of Commerce, has matched the bequest, bringing the total endowment to more than $2 million.
